Not a fan of this recording of the cello suites. These recordings seem to be a bit of a misinterpretation of the suites; way too much vibrato, not aggressive enough. Listen to the Rostropovich or Yo Yo Ma recordings to see something closer to how the original should sound. Yeah, I'm being snobbish about this, but you had it coming.

Please. Did you actually recommend Yo Yo Ma? That man couldn't finesse a bagatelle to save his life. Go for a cellist with a good sotto voce. Du Pré comes to mind.
