Daphne Oram - Oramics (2007)

i won't ruin the trip and say too much about Oramics besides that it's probably the best random discovery i've made in 2011, and if it had been released by Four Tet, FlyLo, GLK, or Boards of Canada it'd be on everyone's year end lists. it's worth mentioning that the album art above is from the 4xLP deluxe gatefold that was released this year (the version available below is the inferior 2007 2xCD). it'll set you back around 50 bucks, but if you like the up it's definitely worth the purchase.

Just trying to find a way to contact you as i found something I think you would really enjoy.....(considering what I've seen on this site)....Warp records have a new signing called KWES...he plays with DELS and Elam tamara both on NInja tunes..he also got invited to play with Damon Albarn and friends in the recent Oxfam/warp collab DRC music...anyway..once you've checked him out you should also check this collab mixtape he's done with Micachu(rough trade records)she's pretty spesh and together they make 'Kwesachu'....I can't post the link to the mixtape..(ft. in studio outtakes, re-hashed songs and loads of live guests and songs by Ghostpoet, dels, hot chip and many more...but if you search it...on kwes' website you should find it in the download section..well worth it the hasel....I've been bumping this for days...every time its sounds different..worth blogging too!!!enjoy...

Can you please remove this 'inferior' version from your blog. It was a lot of hard work putting this double CD together and releasing it. The CD was used as the master for the vinyl so I don't think you can call it inferior. Thank-you.

We don't know each other, but I'm a huge fan of your work. As a writer and food blogger, you're a tremendous inspiration. Well... I guess it's time to leave now... The process of essay writing will take a while. I'm a student;)
