This is the debut album from Javelin, an electronic duo. Their music is highly eclectic in that some of the tunes are danceable and groovy, some are more hip-hop oriented, and some are noticeably influenced by funky soul music. This album also has a very aged feeling to it. I could imagine people in the 60s and 70s jiving to some of the shit on here. The tone of this album could be classified as jovial and nonchalant and consequently might not be received well by those who have sticks up their asses. All in all this is one of the better albums I've had the pleasure of hearing this year. Definitely get this shit.
