Perhaps the most underrated album of all time. Were it released by any other band it would be one of the most talked-about albums of the 80s. Only Suicide's incredible, monolithic first album could overshadow this beautiful slab of despair. It's dark, obsessive, and just magnificent. I think my favorite part about this album is that it must sound exactly how the pop music of the decade sounded to the band: Claustrophobic, relentless and oppressive. It is my favorite Suicide album to listen to, even if it lacks the cocksure extremism of the first album.
