This was a band Elliot Smith was in before he began releasing his solo albums. He does vocals on some of the songs but not all of them. This album actually features a few of my favorite songs he recorded though. Generally this is more rocky and a little heavier than any of Elliot's solo material.

Also for a time the frontman of the band Quasi was also a member of this band.
