Kvelertak - Kvelertak (2010)
Holy fuck look at that album art.
Anyway, Kvelertak is an awesome Norwegian group that takes influences from hardcore punk, black metal, and dad rock. Every track is insanely catchy, and no two are remotely similar. The vocals are throaty hardcore screams which I thought to be very well done. Ryan McKenny of Trap Them also makes a guest appearance. Crushing and melodic. Anyone who appreciates heavier music will love this.

good album. I thought it was interesting that the name of the song "Sultans of Satan" was in english. Maybe they are saying something about the british or americans...
if someone wondered what the bandname means: if you have a kvelertak on someone, you are strangling them. directly translated, something like 'stranglegrip,' though that is an actual word in norwegian.
