El-Creepo - El-Creepo! (2009)
No, this is not "death mariachi" or "hex-mex" or any other made-up genre that popped into your head when you saw the cover. As a matter of fact, it defies categorization by following in the footsteps of Mr. Bungle; that is, doing a bit of everything and prompting you to respond "uh..." when someone asks you what the band sounds like. To make things even more problematic, El-Creepo sounds a hell of a lot like Mr. Bungle.
You've got your spastic, hard rocking numbers, a few sleazy electro pop tunes, and, my personal favorites, the California-esque "mellow" tracks that are more unsettling than calming. Sounds like a good time, right? Right. Of course, this paragraph is unnecessary, since you downloaded the album as soon as you read "Mr. Bungle."
Damn, you know us SO well....
Haha... wonderful first sentence, but now I really would like to hear some "death-mariachi" or "hex-mex".
How would one become a contributor?
