The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin [DEMASTERED] (2006)
I found this on the Indie Rock boards on IGN. This was originally posted by the user siQness. This is his writing, not mine.
"I remember hearing that the record company (Warner Bros.) was unhappy with the way Soft Bulletin had turned out..and had "remixed" a lot of songs on the record. What I didn't know is that they also messed with the original tracklisting. Did you know the classic "Spiderbite Song" isn't even on the U.K. release of Soft Bulletin? Another track "Slow Motion" isn't on the US version. Who made that call? Not The Flaming Lips."
"In 2006 The Lips re-released The Soft Bulletin original studio tracks as they were meant to be heard, put them in the order they were meant to be listed, and thankfully took off all the extra tracks that were completely unnecessary."
You've all most likely heard this album, but this is the definitive version. "Buggin'" sounds a lot different, and across all songs the drums seem to be louder and more apparent.
Check it out. This renewed my love for this classic.

Haven't heard this one before, I might get it. Regardless, The Soft Bulletin was fantastic, I can only imagine it's even better done how the Flaming Lips wanted.
Any change for a re-up on this one? I can't seem to find it anywhere else.
How about a reup this time in FLAC? please please please!
thanks
your amazing boyssssssss
