Eluvium - An Accidental Memory in the Case of Death (2004)

So my hard drive is still not working, accounting for the lack of uploads on my part in a while. Apparently this is a common problem with this type of hard drive and Windows Vista. Anyway, there goes 200+ GB of music that I can no longer listen to or upload. So I'm slowly getting a new library together and re-downloading some old stuff. Anyway, enough about me, let's talk about the music.

Eluvium is a solo project of Matthew Cooper that many of you are probably familiar with. The music varies from album to album, incorporating solo piano, minimalist works, ambient music, and various styles of electronic and shoegaze music. This particular album is solely piano works, ranging from good to amazing depending on the track and taste of the listener. I would recommend trying it.

Sorry to hear about your HDD problems. You should be able to salvage the contents of your hard drive using the dd linux command. It has a rescue function that will do a raw data dump of the disk. You just need to hook the drive up to a linux computer or someone who knows how to use the terminal on a mac
