Adebisi Shank

Math rock and I don't get along. I'm pretty sure that I'm one of the few people in the world who hated "Mirrors" by Battles (I heard the vocals on the first track and promptly vomited). But it's really, really hard to dislike Adebisi Shank. They play a brand of math rock that is catchy, energetic, technical, and occasionally noisy. Oh, and their guitarist is one of the most tasteful show-offs I've ever heard.

I've uploaded both their EP and debut album for your listening pleasure. Leave a comment if you like it/hate it/think it was ok, but nothing to write home about.

Just thought I'd drop by and say you've got a new follower. You guys rock, I'm discovering a ton of new stuff. I thought Adebisi Shank was particularly awesome (and I love Mirrors, so wtf).

Dude I'd never consider Mirrored to be the best example of math rock. I suppose it has mathrocky bits, but if you want math rock from Battles you should try their earlier ones: EP B, EP C, and Tras.
