White Car - No Better EP (2010)

Everything is getting a comeback and receiving a full 2010/1 makeover: 80s electro, italo-disco, RnB, funk, sludge-metal, etc... Now it's time for industrial music, a-la 21st century from Chicago. Imagine Trent Reznor 20 years younger and just coming up with NIN. It might sound a bit like White Car. With a full-on 80s industrial feel, the Roland 909 synth has never sounded so sexy. For fans of GATEKEEPER, Ministry and Lorn.

This is balls deep inside Cabaret Voltaire circa CODE. A bit too old school EBM for my taste, but there's a lot worse out there, I suppose.

    Wack-Trax.

Way to hype this up. wanted to like this so hard :/

  3. If anyone is interested in this old school industrial feel, I just released my solo record inspired by Ministry, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Leaether Strip, The Cure and Depeche Mode. It has pieces of all of that yet still sounds like me, or so I'm told.

It comes with 6 studio tracks, 9 demos and outtakes and 3 music videos. Grab it for free or pay what you want for it. I appreciate it. And the videos are of adult nature they feature gore and nudity.

  4. Mmmmm...Hook me up with some more like this.

I swear to god, I know that opening beat from something extremely 80's, I have to check with a DJ friend of mine to see if I'm crazy or not.

I tend to hit up harder industrial; guys taking power tools to helpless things and then recording the resultant noise, but this was a good post. Merci beaucoup.

This and this kind of music, comeback or not is where electro music should be going and played on parties, i'm sick of that awful techno/house boring kick drums!!
