R.I.P. Bill Doss

Bill Doss, one of the main founders of the Elephant 6 Collective (Neutral Milk Hotel, Olivia Tremor Control and The Apples in Stereo), has died, at the ripe age of 43. He was one of the best musicians of our time, and wrote some of the best pop songs to occupy space. Words cannot describe how terrible a loss this is.

Our condolences go out to the entirety of the Elephant 6 collective, to Athens, Georgia, and to Amy.

R.I.P. Bill. May the sunshine guide you beyond our time.

  2. Sad news indeed. Had a chance to catch OTC live last spring (obviously without Doss) and they played a bunch of their awesome older tunes. Loved almost any of the older Elephant Six material. Condolences to the man's friends and family.
